Descendants of Swan's Island's Alexander Kiff

This summary has been derived from information in Dr. H. W. Small's 'History of Swan's Island' published in 1898.
Alexander Kiff came to Swan's Island from St. George, Maine in 1841, and lived in a house south of where Parker Bridges now resides. He married, in 1823, Susan Robinson Gilcrest, of St. George, at which place they lived for several years. They moved to Gloucester in 1849. Mr. Kiff died there in 1883, aged 82 years. His wife died in 1891, aged 87 years.
