22. Capt. James Freeman Gott was born on 10 May 1838 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. He was buried in 1875 in Tremont, Hancock County, Maine, USA. Temporary burial. He died on 29 November 1875 at the age of 37 in Drowned. lost at sea off schooner 'John Somes'. Lost near Boothbay Harbor. Buried at Tremont. Later (31 oct 1895) moved remains to Swan's Island. Dr. H. W. Small indicated his drowning death occurred in the year 1893. James was buried on 31 October 1895 in Grindle Hill cemetery, Swan's Island. Body moved from Tremont where initially buried in about 1895.

Mary Bowden Stinson, daughter of Benjamin Franklin Stinson and Hannah S. Staples, was born on 19 October 1842 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. Decendent, Alden Lewis Snyder says she was born 5 Jan 1832 She died on 31 July 1917 at the age of 74 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, USA. She was buried in Inglewood cemetery, Los Angeles.
