He was a graduate of Stonington High School, where he participated in the schoolâ€™s baseball program. Leroy enjoyed lobster fishing with his father. He was an avid baseball fan; the Boston Red Sox was his favorite team. Leroy has been a resident of Washington Manor for several years, where he enjoyed bowling,dancing and singing with his extended family.
His humor and love for his family will be greatly missed by his cousin, Linda Johnston, her husband, Richard, and their boys; uncle Tom Keiser and uncle Monty Small; and cousins, Joan Giles, Pearl Eaton, Gene Eaton, James Eaton, Bonnie Pike, Margaret Hutchinson, Elaine Booker, Glenwood Eaton, Allen Dunham and Brian Dunham.
