Descendants of Swan's Island's Samuel Kent

This summary has been derived from information in Dr. H. W. Small's 'History of Swan's Island' published in 1898.
Samuel Kent came to Swan's Island in 1805 from Annisquam, Massachusetts. For a number of years he lived with his brother-in-law, Alexander Nutter. He took over the Irish Point property when Mr. Nutter moved away. Mr. Kent was drowned when accidentally falling from an open boat between Deer Isle and Swan's Island in 1831.
